Father's day was a few weeks ago and I got a call to make a special golf cake. I used the half ball pan on top of the smaller sheet cake to create a 3-dimensional golf ball and I used a grass tip to add a little flair.

A guaranteed recipe for PURE, SUGARY JOY! My grandma had a bakery and I grew up in that bakery. I am sure if you could die from having powdered sugar in your lungs, my days are numbered. She made 1,000's of wedding cakes and birthday cakes, chocolates, wedding cookies, pecan tarts, hot fudge cakes, ect. Anything that you can eat and instantly gain 20 lbs. Back to my grandma - Her name is Betty and since she taught me everything I know and is such a ROCK-STAR - I named my business after her. She is still around from time to time, bossing me around! She keeps a watchful eye on my work. After all, so many people adore her and her incredible cakes that I must live up to her standards. So that's that and now you know where the weird name comes from. I began helping my grandma with some cake orders and I've been licking frosting and cake batter ever since. I hope that it will continue to grow as a business and then I will take over the world with frosted goodness!
